Darab Diba is an architect, designer and writer, trained at the University of Geneva and Belgium Royal Academy where he obtained his Master and PhD degrees. Professor at Tehran University and Khatam University, he is also an affiliated professor at MIT/Harvard, Paris Belleville, Lausanne EPFL and Milan polytechnic. Author of many articles and referential books, a board member of several national and international committees and juries (Aga Khan Award for Architecture, Geneva), he received many awards including the national prize of the Ministry of Roads and Urbanism and the Special Award of the United Nations from UN Habitat in 2010.
