Tandem calls for a new approach and may be used to suit your personal needs (clean linen basket, dirty laundry basket, wastepaper basket, etc.) The Tandem washbasin by Paul Ulian received the IF Product Design Award 2009, the international prize established in 1954 considered to be one of the most important awards in the design industry, as well as the honourable mention at the XXII Compasso d'Oro. “In the bathroom, the washbasin and wastepaper basket are often two items that live closely together. It is not by chance that the wastepaper basket often finds its ideal place in the empty space under the washbasin. It was through observing this intriguing and concerted relationship that sometimes forms between different objects, that the Tandem project came into being. The ceramic washbasin incorporates a removable waste basket made of white lacquered polyurethane which, given its generous size, may also be used as a laundry basket.
